Baked Blackened Salmon


• 2 tsps Paprika⁣ • 1 tsp Oregano⁣ • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder⁣ • 1/2 tsp Dried Thyme⁣ • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt⁣ • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper⁣ • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper⁣ • 1 1/4 lbs Salmon Fillet ⁣ • 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil⁣ • 1/2 lemon (cut into wedges, optional for serving)⁣

📋Directions⁣ 1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 400ºF (204ºC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.⁣ 2️⃣In a small bowl combine the paprika, oregano, garlic, thyme, salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper.⁣ 3️⃣Rub the salmon with the oil on all sides and place on the prepared bakingsheet. Coat the top sides of the salmon with the spice mixture.⁣ 4️⃣Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.Season with additional salt if needed and serve with lemon wedges, if using.
